It's our educational trip..and yeah we learned so much! i personally learned something.. one thing never discriminate somebody. This educational tour was conducted at sanctuary and Elsie Gatches institutions. We third year psychology students visit those clients in the said institutions. I must say, Yes i was scared. who didn't anyway? knowing that you will have interactions with someone that is mentally challenged, of course i was nervous, it's because the stigma on it. But the moment i had the interaction with them i realized something: there's nothing to be afraid of!. This people needs someone's help, someone's understanding and caring., i was very happy that i decided to come with this tour, this client taught me a lot, they taught me how to be caring, taught me that  life is full of hope, as they, still fighting for their own happiness.

People, who judged those clients are wrong.... they don't understand a single thing..how this people are fighting to live normally. as they say, you will understand a thing when you are on it.

also, this tour was not just about learning, it strengthened the bond between the Psychology students in our school, we made new friends and bonding with the professors as well as to those clients.

Psychology students...UNITE!!!
